1.1. Introduction

This course aims that students acquire the concepts and skills needed to implement management processes and equipment maintenance, installations and storages; analyze the environmental, quality, safety, prevention of occupational hazards and health legislation, and to assess the importance of their implementation; develop social skills applied in the workplace.

2.1. Learning goals

The student, for passing this subject, should demonstrate the following results:

1) Proposes and documents against an organism, such as banking or official, a proposal to create a company.

2) Identifies, recognizes, applies and optimizes documentation management systems implemented in a productive enterprise, as well as documentation for management and control of an industrial.

3) Identifies operating processes taking place in a warehouse, and raises its optimization from the economically and management point of view.

4) Identify and analyze the types and maintenance techniques applied in a productive enterprise, and it presents an integrated model of maintenance management.

5) Analyze the regulations and protective measures of environment occupational hazards of an industrial enterprise.

6) Analyzes the regulations and protective measures in the environment of an industrial company.

5.1. Methodological overview

The methodology followed in this course is oriented towards achievement of the learning objectives. A wide range of teaching and learning tasks are implemented, such as lectures, practice sessions, assignments and tutorials.

5.2. Learning tasks

The course includes the following learning tasks:

  • Lectures (1 ECTS). Whole group sessions where the teacher presents the course contents.
  • Practice sessions (0.5 ECTS). Sessions in small groups where the student works on examples of management models of activities related to the productive environment of industrial processes developed in previous topics.
  • Guided assignments (2 ECTS).
  • Tutorials (0.5 ECTS).
